Joe: Yes, Ian McColl sent me a note stating that he too believes the thumbcuffs pictured to be that of (Karl) Fisher. I never heard of them until recently, so they didn't immediately come to mind when I saw the photo. I don't recall them being mentioned/shown in any restraint reference books. Great photo!
