Hello Ian, thanks for your remarks. I was told that these cuffs are much older: from the time that english prisoners were banned to Australia. I'am also not sure if they are a reproduction. How can I find out? Anyway I'm willing to sell or trade this pair as it does not really fit in my collection. If anyone is interested please email me.

: Dear Ron, Hi from Australia. The cuffs you show seem to be a one off handmade type. There haven't really been what you may call prison camps in Australia, although Japanese were held during WWII and there are detention centres for illegal arrives to Australia ( that news went world wide)
