The ones that get away always come back to haunt you. I remember seeing a pair of McKenzie mits, blue ones, at a show about 25 years ago. The
dealer wanted $300, which was about three times
more than I had paid for anything in my collection at that time. Of course now they would sell for $3000. At about the same time I paid about the same $300 for a 62 Plymouth Valiant. Obviously I made the wrong choice because the Valiant only lasted a couple of months.
