I love the site. I am a multi-media Artist interested in someday making at least few "working model," sets of my own ideas, right now I'm asking if anyone knows of a suplier for new old stock repair parts, chain, pivots, or a metalworker or group of metal workers or machinists who are playing around trying to make their own high quality handcuffs, no fakes or faking are of ANY interest to me, just parts sources, places where modern companies perhaps order or buy the chains, or get quality swivels, and good links, stuff being made where the supplier will deal with one guy and small orders as my test materials, and other folks into trying the art of inventing a pair, maybe starting by learning, together, to take apart and repair a modern pair of handcuffs, I'm looking more for the modern type of chain, swivels, than the vintage stuff? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg.
