Good evening, First, Thanks to Ian for his expertise and insight on the Peerless model 400's. Now another question, I obtained a pair of matte finish older Smith and Wessons, do not appear stainless, but they have a small factory star on the bow, near where the "S" is on the stainless models. These appear to be model 90's, but are a bit thicker in all areas . the serial # is 216670. I have several stainless pair with the "S", but this is the first pair I have seen with the star. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Tim
