Hi Stotz Collectors. I though that I would share some info about my Stotz cuffs. My pair has the square notches but it also is an interesting variation. The top of the tube where the key is inserted has internal threads. The key (original) has two nubs sticking up from the top of the bow. It is similar to the Boar War Heavy Plug 8 cuff. It seems that a screw in plug was utilized for extra security. My pair does not have the plugs. If it did, I would assume that it would act as a double lock as the post that the key screws onto would not be able to pop up when the cuff is being tightened. The post would hit the bttom of the phug and dissallow any more movement. My Stotz Leg Irons do not have this feature and they seem to be like the ones pictured only in larger proportions.
