: Can anyone identify this unusual Mattatuck handcuff. : Its most unusual characteristic is the swivel that : substitutes for the three ring chain found on most : Mattatucks. But the differences are much greater. : If you hold this cuff side by side with a real Mattatuck : you can see that everything is just a bit different. : Similar in shape but slightly different in cut or size. : The cuff is made of steel with some sort of lacquer : finish that gives it an unusual color. Unlike a : normal Mattatuck there are no markings of any kind. : Does anyone have any ideas? A couple people have suggested : that it is perhaps a prototype. : thanks : Joe
