Joe,
The unknown backstrap darby you have in the gallery is a Field and Sons. The unusual "ball" swivel adjustable darby you have is from Poland. I had one once and this is where it came from, (circa pre 1920's). Just a thought about the St. Louis World's Fair Maltbys, : I think that it is very likely that the Mattatuck Co. had a booth or trade area set up at the fair to showcase products. And, it is very likely that all of the Maltbys they were selling at the fair bore this stamping. I am inclined to think this is more plausible as opposed to just one particular pair being stamped by the Mattatuck Co and given out as a presentation item. But, who knows? I was'nt there... just a logicl theory, that's all! Regards, Steve Santini P.S. The new items look great!!!: I have just added 22 new items to the hancuff gallery.
: Please check them out and see if I have made any errors.
: There are a few new items listed as "unknown". If you
: can identify any of these items I would appreciate it
: very much.

: Thanks

: Joe
