Bean Cobb and Tower Bean's Pattern

Hello fellow collectors!

I read Joe's excellent essays about Tower's and Bean's Handcuffs and I was wondering if the "Tower Bean's Pattern" was really fabricated without official license?

BTW: as far as I know there are at least four (more or less) different models of this type of handcuffs:
- the original Bean Cobb (Pat. May 2, 1899)
- H&R Bean Cobb with swivel
- H&R Bean Cobb with two chain links
- Tower Bean's Pattern
I guess all of these were made in two different finish modes - polished steel and nickel plated. Any ideas about the order of rarity and value of the different models combined with the two finishes?
