I am aware of the fact that the Cup Lock shackle
is quite an old design. Nevertheless I wonder
where one may buy such today or whether this type
is still manufactured in some corner of the world.
Once closed a cup can be pushed over two flaps
on the shackle. Cup and flaps have aligning holes,
if you pass a chain through these you cannot remove
the cup thus keeping the shackle closed.
