Actually, I am led to believe that there were 3 different Hiatt 1960 models. Apparently, there was a rare Solid-Key model., which took a "bit" key. David DeVal illustrates this Hiatt 1960 version in a manuscript I have of his. He designates the model and key as "Mark II". I have no other specific information.
Perhaps our British collectors can clarify this for all of us.
