Good Luck in finding a pair. I've had mine (black finish) for 25 years. I know or 4 or 5 other pair that I can account for over the years, and it's possible that they could be the same pair with different owners. I've seen both black and nickle plated finishes. This might be a good place for other collectors who have them to reply so we can count how many are known. The reference to fewer than 50 pair made comes from a reference of "several dozen" made according to Dick Norman's book. It's difficult to say what a pair would sell for. A pair with poor finish sold several years ago for about $ 2500.00.

: I have been interested in finding a set of McKenzie Mitts. I have heard that there are only a few to be had, only about 50 made and about half of those "lost".
: The rest are in collections. What are my chances of finding some, and what price is reasonable??
