Hiatt Darby cuffs were the standard in England from
the mid 19th century through the 1950s. Indeed they
are still made today, although the new ones are
inferior to the old and mainly for collectors.

Desirable markings include "Best" and "Warrented
Wrought". How much should you pay? You can find
very nice ones in England for $50-60. Unless it
is very nice I would not go much over $100.
